Elad Green

I completed my Ph.D. in Strategic Management at New York University's Stern School of Business.

I am now a member of the Search group at Google NYC. I am working on machine learning models for Google's Question Answering System.

My academic research focused on the dynamics of organizational search and innovation under conditions of technological uncertainty. My dissertation focused on parallel technological search, a strategic choice that firms make to simultaneously pursue multiple competing technological paths.

I received my B.Sc. (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel-Aviv University, Israel, where I double-majored in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and my M.A. (Magna Cum Laude) in Cognitive Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. During my M.A. studies I spent a semester in a graduate exchange program at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.

Prior to joining Stern’s Strategy Ph.D. program, I was a systems architect and modeling engineer in the telecommunications industry.
